You could see a distinct line where water was stirred up.
The rivers were running high and full of mud, which is where the mud in the ocean came from.
Several days later there was still some clean-up to do. This is on the way to Melaque and downtown Melaque. Here in Perula there were several roads with standing rain. Made for a very muddy drive, and still some of the intersections have water.
Rain at the house.
The rain got into what Tom calls the "horn" of our satellite. He tried to dry it out and clean it up, but we lost internet. He has ordered parts and a friend who has a house here in Perula is very nice to bring it down when he comes. We couldn't seem to get anyone to ship to Mexico. Now we shall hope the parts are the ones we need to resurrect the system. Tom has a hotspot on his phone we were trying to use, but for some reason the signal strength is poor. So we tried a Hotspot on my phone. Seems to work! We both have identical phones, so who knows the why. At least we can communicate again.
