About Us

My photo
We are both retired. Built a house near a beach in Mexico to spend the winter away from the cold and snow. Have another home in Washington on the Pend Oreille River where we spend the summer. We divide our time between the two homes.

Día de Revolución

I have been asked my a few friends to start the blog again.  So here is the first post.  I will try to post some photos from the past year at a later time.

The Día de Revolución is Nov 20, but for some reason the parade in Perula was Nov 21.

Running a little late

 The start and gathering

Pretty clothes

Some have dolls on their backs

Dancing
Families line the streets

A helping hand to see the parade.

Not sure if these are judges or honorable members of town
Siblings
Police making sure the parade is secure
Town square being worked on while the parade is in progress
Vendors setting up for after the parade treats

End of the day, the dress was hot

The end of the parade and a hand to the heart to honor the flag
